Calf blood flow was measured simultaneously in healthy human subjects (n = 7) during cuff inflation and deflation using near-infrared diffuse correlation spectroscopy (DCS) and arterial spin labeled perfusion MRI (ASL-MRI). The DCS and ASL-MRI data exhibited highly correlated absolute and relative dynamic flow responses in each individual (p < 0.001). Peak(More)
This technical report discusses the submission and peer-review process used by the First Workshop on on Sustainable Software for Science: Practice and Experiences (WSSSPE) and the results of that process. It is intended to record both this alternative model as well as the papers associated with the workshop that resulted from that process.
This technical report discusses the submission and peer-review process used by the Second Workshop on Sustainable Software for Science: Practice and Experiences (WSSSPE2) and the results of that process. It is intended to record both the alternative submission and program organization model used by WSSSPE2 as well as the papers associated with the workshop(More)
The effects of prior experience with fighting and prior experience with both apomorphine and fighting were evaluated as possible sensitizing factors in rat intraspecific aggression induced by apomorphine. Results revealed that prior experience with the drug alone, or with fighting alone, had no effect on apomorphine-induced aggression. However, animals that(More)
We describe the assembly of piezoelectric actuators suitable for use in Proch-Trickl pulsed gas valves employed in pulsed molecular beam experiments. In their simplest form, these actuators have performance equal to and resistance to chemical attack far superior to the recently discontinued commercial actuator around which the valve was originally designed.(More)
