MOULTING IN THE ANURA: THE NORMAL MOULTING CYCLE OF BUFO REGULARIS REUSS
The frequency of moulting is not influenced by size, age or feeding, nor does there appear to be any difference in this regard between the sexes; any seasonal variation is slight.
Inhibition and Rhythmic Activity of the Circular Muscles of Calliactis Parasitica (Couch)
- D. W. Ewer

The very long latent periods characteristic of pedal rings and the rhythmic activity of these preparations are interpreted as interactions of excitation and inhibition.
A Note On the Classification of Elementary Behaviour Patterns
A short review of recent studies on elementary behaviour patterns in non-directional gradients shows that adaptation plays an important part in kinetic responses and that the speed and activity…
The Biology and Behaviour of Ptinus Tectus Bole. (Coleoptera, Ptinidae), A Pest of Stored Products : III. The Effect of Temperature and Humidity on Oviposition, Feeding and Duration of Life Cycle
Ptinus tectus is adapted to a temperate climate with a high humidity, and the hatching of the egg, rather than embryonic development, seems to be sensitive to low humidity.

The genus Spirographis is not valid and that its species should be referred to the genus Sabella which is redefined, and its characters by which Sabella pavonina, its variety bicoronata and Spiographis spallanzanii may be distinguished.
THE WATER ECONOMY OF THREE SPECIES OF THE AMPHIBIOUS CRAB, POTAMON
Evidence is presented that this greater resistance of P. sidneyi to desiccation is not due to a difference in permeability of the integument, and that this lower rate of water loss results in it havin...
On the Origin of Mating Behavior in Spiders
From a comparative survey of the mating habits of those arachnids for which the facts are known, it is suggested that the proto-spiders may have transfered the sperm to the female by way of a spermatophore which they deposited on the substratum.
Frequency of Moulting in Anura
There appears to be no accurate information available on the frequency with which the Anura moult, but Gadow states that they shed it every few weeks, but this surely is an overstatement.
