Lyophilized aqueous extract from Lychnophora pinaster Mart (Asteraceae) aerial parts was evaluated in the search of possible biological activities and showed the presence of caffeic acid, isochlorogenic acid, vitexin, isovitesin and quercetin, in comparison with authentic samples.
