MORTALITY OF APPLE LEAFROLLER EXPOSED TO DIFFERENT Bacillus thuringiensis SUBSPECIES IN ARTIFICIAL DIET, IN THREE ASSESSMENT PERIODS
TLDR
Bt kurstaki was more efficient in all assessment periods, except for fifteen days, which was similar to Bt aizawai, and the mortality assessment performed after fifteen days of treatment was significant for all three subspecies.
Genetic diversity of the sunflower caterpillar (Chlosyne lacinia saundersii Doubleday and Hewitson) (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae) populations determined by molecular RAPD markers.
Chlosyne lacinia saundersii is one of the most important pests of sunflower and it is the main target of insecticides applications. Larvae were collected in Londrina (PR), Santa Maria (RS), Dourados
Morphological and molecular characterization of a new species of Diabrotica (Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae, Galerucinae)
TLDR
A set of characters of diagnostic value: mouthparts, hind wing venation, binding patch, metendosternite, and details of male and female genitalia previously overlooked in the genus was provided and molecular evidence suggest that this new species is distantly related to the Diabroticina with known sequences deposited in the GenBank.
