Influence of the beta-blocking atenolol and other medications on visual reaction time.

There is a positive effect of beta blocker medication on vigilance, and the effects of the well-known drugs fenethylline-hydrochioride, diazepam, oxazepam, and alcohol on visual reaction time were investigated.

The results of the study show, that under these experimental conditions there is a positive effect of beta-blocker medication on vigilance.
