Eating disorders and subthreshold eating conditions are prevalent in the general adolescent population and their impact is demonstrated by generally strong associations with other psychiatric disorders, role impairment, and suicidality.

On global measure of outcome, the two forms of therapy were associated with equivalent end of treatment results, however, for those patients with high levels of maternal criticism towards the patient, the SFT was shown to be superior to the CFT.

Quality of life after gastric bypass surgery: a cross-sectional study.
TLDR
Results indicate that the IWQOL-Lite may be more sensitive than the SF-36 to the changes of quality of life that gastric bypass patients report, and this study is the first to objectively document these differences in several objective measures of HRQL, depression, and self-esteem in a large sample of patients.
