From the roots ofOnonis arvensis L. a new isoflavone has been isolated with mp 213–214° C which has been called onogenin. On the basis of the results of a study of its UV, IR, NMR, and mass spectra, the structure of 7-hydroxy-6-methoxy-3′,4′-methylenedioxyisoflavanone is proposed for onogenin.
At the present time, to stopper bottles containing injection solutions, natural (25 P) and silicon (IR-21) rubber stoppers are widely used. It was found [1-3] that with stoppers made of natural rubber, during contact with injection solutions, an odor is caused, and opalescence, and various compounds with toxic effects on the human organism pass from the… (More)
Another three cardiac glycosides have been isolated from the seeds ofCheiranthus allioni hort. One of them has been identified as digifucocellobioside (digitoxigenin 3 β-O-[O-β-D-glycopyranosyl(1 → 4)-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl(1 → 4)-O-β-D-fucopyranoside]). The two other glycosides, called digitoxigenin gulomethyloside and glucodigigulomethyloside are,… (More)
