Our DOA estimation sensor has shown the potential to provide highly precise estimates (0.54° RMSE) of SSR signals. The CRB in this scenario is closely approached by using NC Unitary ESPRIT. Further improvements by calibration can be attained with higher resolution A/D-converters in order to increase the SNR of the used reference signals.
