Wave Field Synthesis systems are known to suffer from coloration. Depending on the applied number of loudspeakers comb-filter effects are present in the amplitude spectrum. In a listening experiment participants rated the perceived coloration of a synthesized point source compared to the reference case of a single loudspeaker. The point source was presented(More)
Recent advances in haptic technology have focused on delivering haptic vibrations to the user's hand, either through touched physical surfaces (or objects) with embedded haptic devices or through worn (or held) haptic feedback devices such as a gloves or controllers. In most of these devices, the sensation of touch is controlled by modulating either the(More)
We propose and evaluate an acoustic crosstalk canceler for binaural sound presentation based on an 8-channel linear loudspeaker array. The system uses traditional LSFI beamforming and path estimation in the mid and low frequency range, respectively. Simulations show a channel separation of around 40 dB over the vast part of the considered frequency range.(More)
