The flow and soot distribution patterns of the combustion chambers was gotten by the three-dimensional simulation process, which was calculated under rated load of a high pressure common rail diesel engine. The results showed that combustion chamber 2 matched with the spray more reasonable than combustion chamber 1 and combustion chamber 3.
