Metallic nanowire networks have huge potential in devices requiring transparent electrodes. This article describes how the electrical resistance of metal nanowire networks evolve under thermal annealing. Understanding the behavior of such films is crucial for the optimization of transparent electrodes which find many applications. An in-depth investigation(More)
Silver nanowire (AgNW) networks are efficient as flexible transparent electrodes, and are cheaper to fabricate than ITO (Indium Tin Oxide). Hence they are a serious competitor as an alternative to ITO in many applications such as solar cells, OLEDs, transparent heaters. Electrical and optical properties of AgNW networks deposited on glass are investigated(More)
Silver nanowire (AgNW) networks are emerging as one of the most promising alternatives to indium tin oxide (ITO) for transparent electrodes in flexible electronic devices. They can be used in a variety of optoelectronic applications such as solar cells, touch panels and organic light-emitting diodes. Recently they have also proven to be very efficient when(More)
A novel amperometric magnetoimmunoassay, based on the use of core-shell magnetic nanoparticles and screen-printed carbon electrodes, was developed for the selective determination of Legionella pneumophila SG1. A specific capture antibody (Ab) was linked to the poly(dopamine)-modified magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs@pDA-Ab) and incubated with bacteria. The(More)
Hydroxyapatite films have been grown in this work by an electrodeposition method involving both physical and chemical processes and presenting several differences with respect to other reported works. Description of the coating formation is based on the evolution of current through the sample placed as positive electrode in the basic electrolyte. The(More)
A neural network algorithm inverting selected channels from the Advance Microwave Sounding Unit instruments AMSU-A and AMSU-B was applied to retrieve layer averaged relative humidity. The neural network was trained with a global synthetic dataset representing clear-sky conditions. A precision of around 6% was obtained when retrieving global simulated(More)
TiO2 thin films have been deposited at low temperature using a new atmospheric pressure deposition process, which combines remote Atmospheric Pressure (AP) Plasma with Pulsed Injection Metallorganic Chemical Vapour Deposition (PIMOCVD). The effects of postdischarge plasma and deposition parameters have been studied with respect to the deposition kinetics,(More)
Nanoporous SnO2 thin films were elaborated to serve as sensing electrodes for label-free DNA detection using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Films were deposited by an electrodeposition process (EDP). Then the non-Faradic EIS behaviour was thoroughly investigated during some different steps of functionalization up to DNA hybridization. The(More)
A systematic study of domain structure and residual stress evolution with film thickness and of phase transition in c/a epitaxial PbTiO(3)/LaAlO(3) films using X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy is reported. Both techniques revealed that the films are under tensile residual stress in the film plane and that a-domains are more stressed than c-domains.(More)
