Analysis of patterns of phylogeny of all the endemic Juan Fernandez vascular flora reveals 71% anagenetic, 24% anacladogenetic, and 5% cladogenetic events, consistent with small genetic alterations during speciation in rapidly changing environments with few vicariant events.
