FIRST REPORT OF CUCUMBER MOSAIC VIRUS INFECTING APPLE IN CHINA
TLDR
This is the first report of CMV infecting apple in China and using the CMV-specific monoclonal antibody 3C12, the 153 symptomatic samples were positive for CMV in ELISA.
The Malvastrum Yellow Vein Virus C4 Protein Promotes Disease Symptom Development and Enhances Virus Accumulation in Plants
TLDR
The results indicate that the MaYVV C4 protein is a determinant of disease symptom and viral DNA accumulation and this protein can also function as a suppressor of RNA silencing and alter cell division and expansion.
Complete nucleotide sequence of a novel monopartite begomovirus infecting Ageratum conyzoides in China
TLDR
Two isolates of a novel monopartite begomovirus were obtained from naturally infected Ageratum conyzoides plants showing typical leaf curling and enation symptoms in Sichuan Province, China, and the tentative name “ageratum leaf curl Sicuan virus” (ALCScV) is proposed.
Molecular identification of tobacco leaf curl disease in Sichuan province of China
TLDR
Co-infection of TYLCCNV and PaLCuCNV was identified in tobacco plants with typical symptoms of TLCD from Sichuan province in China, and this is the first report of PaLCUCNV infecting tobacco in China.
First Report of Tobacco curly shoot virus Infecting Phaseolus vulgaris in China
TLDR
This work has reported the first report of TbCSV associated with its betasatellite associated with P. vulgaris in China, and coinfection of TYLCV and Tb CSV/TbCSB was constructed and coinoculated to P. indecentis.
FIRST REPORT OF TOMATO YELLOW LEAF CURL CHINAVIRUS INFECTING MALVA ROTUNDIFOLIA IN CHINA
TLDR
This is the first report of TYLCCNV associated with its betasatellite infecting Malva rotundifolia, a common medicinal herb in China.
FIRST REPORT OF PEPPER CRYPTIC VIRUS 2 INFECTING PEPPER IN CHINA
TLDR
High throughput sequencing data showed the occurrence of additional putative viruses such as Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) in pepper, which is the first report of PCV-2 infecting pepper in China.
Molecular characterization of a novel Conyza canadensis-infecting begomovirus in China
A novel monopartite begomovirus was found in naturally infected Conyza canadensis plants exhibiting typical begomovirus-induced yellow vein symptoms in Yunnan Province of China. Analysis of two
