Cultivation in a semi‐defined medium of animal infective forms of Trypanosoma brucei, T. equiperdum, T. evansi, T. rhodesiense and T. gambiense.
The cultured trypanosomes had all the characteristics of the in vivo bloodstream forms including: morphology, infectivity, antigenic variation and glucose metabolism.
Lipids of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. Analysis of Molecular Species and Intracellular Site(s) of Biosynthesis
During their biosynthesis, all the lipids act individually as substrates for the lipid-linked desaturation of fatty acids, and the results suggest that in Chlamydomonas, 18:3(5,9,12) and 18:4 (5, 9,12,15) are formed in the cytoplasm using DGTS and PE as substrate.

Chemical analysis in combination with a series of physiological and behavioral tests identify a chemical Leitmotiv that underlies signaling of fear, but also point to a double role for the olfactory Grueneberg ganglion in intraspecies as well as interspecies communication of danger.
Assessment of driving capability through the use of clinical and psychomotor tests in relation to blood cannabinoids levels following oral administration of 20 mg dronabinol or of a cannabis…
This controlled clinical study points out the negative influence on fitness to drive after medium or high dose oral THC or dronabinol and identifies a better estimate of impairment than THC alone.

Analysis of a commercial e-liquid rich in cannabidiol showed that it contained a smaller dose of active ingredient than advertised, but testing a laboratory-made, purified BHO confirmed that it could be vaped in an e-cig to deliver a psychoactive dose of THC.
Long-Term Effects of Cannabis on Brain Structure
Evidence is provided that regular cannabis use is associated with gray matter volume reduction in the medial temporal cortex, temporal pole, parahippocampal gyrus, insula, and orbitofrontal cortex; these regions are rich in cannabinoid CB1 receptors and functionally associated with motivational, emotional, and affective processing.
Cannabis and its effects on driving skills.
Chromatographic and Spectroscopic Data of Cannabinoids from Cannabis sativa L.
Abstract Chromatographic and spectroscopic data was determined for 16 different major cannabinoids from Cannabis sativa plant material as well as 2 human metabolites of Δ9‐tetrahydrocannabinol.…

The DESI-MS technique could become very powerful for the rapid analysis of unknown tablets and shows the great potential of desorption techniques as an alternative to solution-based analysis.
Trypanosome variable surface glycoproteins: composite genes and order of expression.
It is shown here that a single telomeric pseudogene provides the 3' portion of three distinct T. equiperdum VSG genes by recombination with different 5' donor pseudogenes, demonstrating how homologous recombination can generate an ordered sequence of gene expression.
