This study determined the stability of ofloxacin in peritoneal dialysis solutions at several temperatures over the course of two weeks, and found that the fluoroquinolones offer an alternative to the standard combination treatment of peritonitis with vancomycin and aminoglycosides for gram-positive and gram-negative coverage.
