The following case studies describe the psychotherapeutic treatment given to three guilt-ridden patients, with the aid of rabbis. Collaboration between clergy and mental health professionals in treating such patients is discussed.
In the dialectical cotherapy approach, cotherapists take opposing views and roles from the beginning phase of treatment until positive change has been realized.
