An Oestrogen Receptor α-bound Human Chromatin Interactome
- M. Fullwood, M. Liu, Y. Ruan
- BiologyNature
- 16 September 2009
It is proposed that chromatin interactions constitute a primary mechanism for regulating transcription in mammalian genomes and is described as a new strategy, chromatin interaction analysis by paired-end tag sequencing (ChIA-PET) for the de novo detection of global Chromatin interactions.
APF lncRNA regulates autophagy and myocardial infarction by targeting miR-188-3p
- Kun Wang, Cui-yun Liu, Pei-feng Li
- BiologyNature Communications
- 10 April 2015
It is reported that a long noncoding RNA, named autophagy promoting factor (APF), can regulate autophagic cell death by targeting miR-188-3p and ATG7, and that APF lncRNA regulates miR -188- 3p, and thus affects ATG 7 expression, autophotic cell death and myocardial infarction.
A circular RNA protects the heart from pathological hypertrophy and heart failure by targeting miR-223.
- Kun Wang, B. Long, Pei-feng Li
- Biology, MedicineEuropean Heart Journal
- 1 September 2016
It is shown that a circular RNA (circRNA), which is term heart-related circRNA (HRCR), acts as an endogenous miR-223 sponge to inhibit cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure.
Spoligotyping and Drug Resistance Analysis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis Strains from National Survey in China
- Y. Pang, Yang Zhou, Yan-Lin Zhao
- Medicine, BiologyPLoS ONE
- 7 March 2012
Beijing family genotypes were still the predominant genotype throughout China, which exhibited a greater correlation with rifampin-resistance, ofloxacin-Resistance and MDR phenotypes than other TB spoligotypes, and some regions of China showed several unique characters in the distribution of M. tuberculosis genotypes.
Differential regulation of the activity of deleted in liver cancer 1 (DLC1) by tensins controls cell migration and transformation
- Xuan Cao, C. Voss, B. Zhao, T. Kaneko, S. Li
- BiologyProceedings of the National Academy of Sciences
- 17 January 2012
The epithelial growth factor receptor plays an important role in cell migration and cancer metastasis, but the underlying molecular mechanism is not fully understood. We show here that differential…
