The electrochemical behavior of atorvastatin calcium at glassy carbon and boron-doped diamond electrodes has been studied using voltammetric techniques and successfully applied to the high-throughput determination of the drug in tablets, human serum and human urine with good recoveries.
Electrochemical study of fluvastatin sodium – analytical application to pharmaceutical dosage forms, human serum, and simulated gastric juice
Oxidation of fluvastatin sodium was found to be diffusion-controlled and irreversible, and the proposed methods were successfully applied to the determination of the drug in capsules and biological fluids.
