Subcutaneous haemangiosarcoma in a cockatiel (Nymphicus hollandicus).
An ulcerated, 1 x 0.5 cm, subcutaneous mass on the craniolateral aspect of the right tibiotarsus of a 4-year-old male cockatiel was removed and neoplastic cells had diffuse immunoreactivity to factor VIII supporting a diagnosis of haemangiosarcoma. Expand
Coccidosis caused by Eimeria scabra in a finishing hog.
Examination of hematoxylin-eosin-stained sections of small intestine revealed large numbers of thick-walled oocysts and large macrogamonts, which indicate coccidiosis as a cause of diarrhea in finishing swine is seldom reported. Expand
