The clinical data presented in the given work are based on the treatment of 166 patients with complicated abdominal aortic aneurysms, operated on during 20 years, namely between 1984 and 2004. The use of the improved puncture needle was evaluated on the basis of 126 biopsies of thyroid nodular lesions.
