The robustness of wearable UHF-band grounded antennas with respect to body-coupling effects is addressed through numerical investigations. Main goal is gaining physical insights on the relationship between the grounded antenna performance and the distribution of the electric and magnetic energy densities in the antenna near-field region close to the ground(More)
The first example of a chemosensor (L) containing a selenourea moiety is described here. L is able to colorimetrically sense the presence of CN- and S2- in H2O : MeCN (75 : 25, v/v). Moreover, when L is loaded into functionalised mesoporous silica nanoparticles an increase in the selectivity towards S2- occurs via a selective fluorescence response.
A series of luminescent fac-[Re(CO)3(L)(NN)](+) complexes, where L is a pyridine or an imidazole and NN is the 1,10-phenanthroline subunit of mixed donor pentadentate thioether crowns have been synthesised and their luminescence properties have been analysed. Then, heterometallic Re(i)/Au(i) complexes, with the Au(i) fragment bonded directly to the(More)
Three fluorescent asymmetric bis-urea receptors (L1-L3) have been synthesised. The binding properties of L1-L3 towards different anions (fluoride, acetate, hydrogencarbonate, dihydrogen phosphate, and hydrogen pyrophosphate HPpi(3-)) have been studied by means of (1)H-NMR, UV-Vis and fluorescence spectroscopy, single crystal X-ray diffraction, and(More)
