<i>Synchrum</i> is a tangible interface, inspired by the Tibetan prayer wheel, for audience participation and collaboration during digital performance. It engages audience members in effortful interaction, where they have to rotate the device in accord with a given rotation speed. We used synchrum in a video installation and report our observations.
