We prove common fixed point theorems for a pair of fuzzy mappings satisfying Edelstein, Alber and Guerr-Delabriere type contractive conditions in a metric linear space. © 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
Recommended by Lech G ´ orniewicz We prove a result on points of coincidence and common fixed points for three self-mappings satisfying generalized contractive type conditions in cone metric spaces. We deduce some results on common fixed points for two self-mappings satisfying contractive type conditions in cone metric spaces. These results generalize some… (More)
We obtain sufficient conditions for existence of points of coincidence and common fixed points of three self mappings satisfying a contractive type conditions in cone metric spaces. Our results generalize several well-known recent results.
We prove the existence of points of coincidence and common fixed points of a pair of self mappings satisfying a generalized contractive condition in cone metric spaces. Our results generalize several well-known recent and classical results.
Huang and Zhang 1 generalized the notion of metric space by replacing the set of real numbers by ordered Banach space, deffined a cone metric space, and established some fixed point theorems for contractive type mappings in a normal cone metric space. Subsequently, several other authors 2–5 studied the existence of common fixed point of mappings satisfying… (More)
We prove the existence of common fixed points of a sequence of multivalued mappings satisfying Edelstein type contractive condition. As an application, common fixed points of a sequence of single valued expansive type mappings have been obtained. © 2008 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
We define the concept of βℱL-admissible for a pair of L-fuzzy mappings and establish the existence of common L-fuzzy fixed point theorem. Our result generalizes some useful results in the literature. We provide an example to support our result.
Azam et al. introduced the concept of complex-valued metric spaces and obtained sufficient conditions for the existence of common fixed points of a pair of contractive type mappings involving rational expressions. Subsequently, several authors have studied the existence and uniqueness of the fixed points and common fixed points of self-mappings in view… (More)
