A field experiment was conducted during rabi season of 2012-13 to ascertain the susceptibility of eleven white onion and fifteen red and dark red promising genotypes of onion to Thrips tabaci to highly resistant onion varieties, finding JRO-10-06 found susceptible and JWO-08-08, AWSO-04-7 and JO-12-10 recorded highest thrips population.
