An effective extraction procedure able to isolate fifteen NSAIDs from bovine milk and muscle tissue through two succeeding steps is described, able to achieve low detection capabilities (CCβs) for all analytes and, in particular, for diclofenac whose Maximum Residue Limit in milk is 0.1 μg kg−1.

The in vitro antioxidant and free radical‐scavenging assays revealed the oil to be an effective scavenger of the ABTS radical cation, with an activity comparable to that of Trolox®, which support the use of A. arborescens oil for the treatment of inflamed skin conditions.
