Morphofunctional remodelling of the osmoregulatory system in starred sturgeon Acipenser stellatus (Acipenseridae) during transition from hyperosmotic to hypoosmotic regulation
- L. Krayushkina, O. G. Semenova, A. V. Vyushina, A. Gerasimov
- Biology, MedicineJournal of Ichthyology : A Translation of Voprosy…
- 23 April 2015
The neuroendocrine and endocrine systems respond to changes in the environmental salinity in a short time interval thus stimulating morphofunctional changes inThe effector organs and their transition to hypoosmotic regulation, which restores serum osmolarity close to the initial level.
[The effect of prenatal stress on antioxidant glutathion-assosiated enzymes activity in subcellular fractions of rat's liver].
- A. V. Vyushina, A. Pritvorova, O. G. Semenova, N. Ordyan
- BiologyBiomeditsinskaia khimiia

Redistribution of the antioxidant enzyme activity in the cytosol, the fraction of nuclei and the mitochondrial fraction of liver tissue may contribute to the formation of the pathological phenotype of prenatally stressed offspring.

Oxidative modification of proteins and content of reduced thiols in blood in physiological pregnancy
- A. A. Shevelkova, A. V. Vyushina
- Biology, Medicine
- 15 September 2012
Absence of any reliable differences in the levels of oxidative modification of proteins in both groups and considerable decrease of the reducedThiols' level in pregnant women were found, apparently explained as the reduced thiols are used more actively in physiological pregnancy.
Free-Radical Lipid Oxidation in the Rat Hypothalamus in Stress Following Cortisol Administration
- M. A. Flerov, A. V. Vyushina
- BiologyNeuroscience and Behavioral Physiology
- 16 April 2013
Administration of cortisol can lead to longlasting changes in free-radical lipid oxidation in the hypothalamus of both control and stressed rats.

The review examines the recent research on the complex analysis of the multicomponent problem of the causes and consequences of prenatal stress.
The Effect of Prenatal Stress on Glutathione-Associated Antioxidant Enzyme Activity in Subcellular Fractions of Neocortical Neurons and Neuroglia of Rats during the Period of Intensive Myelination
- A. V. Vyushina, A. Pritvorova, O. G. Semenova, N. Ordyan
- BiologyNeurochemical Journal
- 1 September 2022
The changes in the activity of the studied enzymes in the subcellular fractions of neocortical neurons and neuroglia in prenatally stressed rats observed at the age of 20 days negatively affect the processes of myelination in the neocortex and may contribute to accelerated aging and the development of neurodegenerative diseases in later life.
Correlation between protein oxidation and antioxidant system and individual typological particularities of rat behavior in norm and post-stress psychopathology
- A. V. Vyushina, A. Pritvorova, O. G. Semenova, V. G. Shalyapina, M. A. Flerov
- Psychology, BiologyNeurochemical Journal
- 7 December 2011
It is possible to conclude that different changes in oxidative modification of proteins and the activity of the antioxidant system occur during the development of post-stress psychopathology in rats with different individual typological particularities of behavior.
Effects of Dalargin on Changes in Anxiety in Rats with Different Individual-Typological Behavioral Characteristics in a Model of PTSD
- O. G. Semenova, A. V. Vyushina, A. Pritvorova, V. V. Rakitskaya, N. Ordyan
- Psychology, BiologyNeuroscience and Behavioral Physiology
- 1 June 2022
An experimental analog of PTSD was created using water immersion in the stress–restress paradigm and rats with the model of PTSD showed a decrease in total motor-exploratory activity and a simultaneous increase in their initially high anxiety; dalargin had an antistress action in these animals.
