The name of Pi-kh gene cloned from the rice line Tetep has been designated as per the standard guidelines of Committee on Gene Symbolization, Nomenclature and Linkage (CGSNL) and its physical location on rice chromosome 11, which is ∼2.5 Mbp away from the Pik locus mapped recently.

Lipid extracts from meat, head and viscera of Indian fresh water fishes were analyzed for lipid class distribution and fatty acid profile and in most of the fishes, the content of eicosapentaenoic Acid and docosahexaenoic acid were higher in visceral lipids.
