This double-blind, double-dummy, randomized, comparative, multicentric, parallel group study enrolled 197 patients with acute low back pain and found the aceclofenac–tizanidine combination was more effective than acecl ofenac alone and had a favourable safety profile in the treatment of acuteLow back pain.

The overall response of patients’ osteoarthritis to aceclofenac was found to be statistically superior to dicl ofenac by both physician and patient, and the well-tolerated drug in the Indian setting.
