Comparison of the diagnostic performance of the 2017 and 2018 versions of LI-RADS for hepatocellular carcinoma on gadoxetic acid enhanced MRI.
In LI-RADS v2018, although a considerable number of observations re-classified subthreshold growth, changes in the assigned categories were insignificant; overall diagnostic performance was comparable to that of v2017, but v2018 might emphasise the value of ancillary features in combination with major features for determining the probability of HCC. Technical success rates and reliability of spin-echo echo-planar imaging (SE-EPI) MR elastography in patients with chronic liver disease or liver cirrhosis
The technical success rate of MR elastography in spin-echo echo-planar imaging (SE-EPI) was significantly higher than that in gradient-recalled echo (GRE) during both the inspiratory and expiratory phases and liver stiffness values were significantly higher during inspiration than during expiration in both GRE and SE-EPi. Early Prediction of the Severity of Acute Pancreatitis Using Radiologic and Clinical Scoring Systems With Classification Tree Analysis.
The authors' CTA model consisted of clinical and radiologic scoring systems and may be useful for the early prediction of the severity of AP and identification of high-risk patients who require close surveillance. Expand

Added value of 2D shear wave imaging of the gallbladder bed of the liver for acute cholecystitis
2D-SWI of the GB bed of the liver could be helpful for diagnosing acute cholecystitis, according to the optimal cutoff values for SWE and SWD. Expand
Zinner Syndrome with Ectopic Ureter Remnant.
The experience of Zinner syndrome with bladder outlet obstruction and an ectopic ureter remnant is reported, a rare developmental anomaly related to the mesonephric duct. Expand
Two cases of ovarian serous surface papillary borderline tumours with discordant 18F-FDG PET features
Ovarian serous tumours are the most common ovarian tumours, and they are classified as benign (60%), borderline (15%), or malignant (25%) (Tanaka et al. 2011; Kwon et al. 2013; Park et al. 2018). B...
Two Millisievert Versus Conventional-Dose CT for Right Colonic Diverticulitis as an Alternate Diagnosis of Appendicitis: Secondary Analysis of Large Pragmatic Randomized Trial Data.
2-mSv CT is comparable to conventional-dose CT for the diagnosis of right colonic diverticulitis, and the results further support the use of low- dose CT in patients with suspected appendicitis. Expand
