The anatomy and morphometry of the coronary sinus in hearts of adult humans is explored, position of the sinus to left atrium, left fibrous ring and adjacent arteries is clarified, and four variants of topographic and anatomical relations of the Sinus and its adjacent arteries are found.

The existence of the parietal longitudinal MTC on the right side of the IVS SP is proposed to be one of the hallmarks of the anatomically "normal" (ordinarily formed) heart in the human fetuses.

Traditional and new concepts on the development of the trabeculae carneae and intertrabecular spaces (ITS) in the heart ventricles and the necessity to develop the anatomical criteria of normal intracardiac structures is accentuated.

Left-ventricular surface of the interventricular septum (IVS) was studied in the heart of 85 human fetuses formed without congenital defects and minor abnormalities and the formation of the cardiac LV and IVS trabecular pattern in prenatal period is discussed.
Morphometrical observation on the left atrium in human adults
The article presents mean, standard deviation, median, 25th percentile and 75st percentile and coefficients of variation for the length, width and sagittal size of theleft atrium, as well as the values of the distances between the pulmonary vein orifices, which characterize the dimensions of the left atrium posterior wall.
[Left atrial thrombi manifesting clinically as an annular thrombus].
A case diagnosed while still living, as an annular thrombus in the left atrium with the presence of a "pure" mitral stenosis with two thrombi found, one of them "traveling", providing conditions for a complete obstruction of the mitral opening.
Anatomical and morphometric variation of the orifice of the left atrial appendage
In a normal human adult heart, the shape of the left atrial appendage orifice was oval, less often round, and the size of the orifice depends on the length and the width of the ventricles.
