The presence of R6 in the Nepalese suggests that the gene flow between India and Nepal has been reciprocal, and a novel deep-rooting haplogroup M43 is defined and identified in Indian populations carrying the 9-bp deletion by complete mtDNA sequencing.

Two Gram-negative-staining, aerobic, non-motile, rod-shaped bacteria, designated strains FFA1(T) and FFA3(T), and belonging to the class Gammaproteobacteria were isolated from the gastrointestinal tract of adult flesh flies and demonstrated that they represented two novel species of the genus Ignatzschineria.

The fused SnoaL_2 domain in the Mycobacterium tuberculosis sigma factor σJ modulates promoter recognition
The studies suggest that the ECF41 family of σ-factors incorporate features of both—the σ70 family and bacterial one—component systems thereby providing a direct mechanism to implement environment-mediated transcription changes.
