Reappraisal and range extension of non-indigenous Mysidae (Crustacea, Mysida) in continental and coastal waters of eastern France
A survey of species belonging to the family Mysidae revealed a recent range extension of the invasive Ponto-Caspian species Hemimysis anomala to the Moselle, Saône, and Rhône rivers.
Orders Lophogastrida Boas, 1883, Stygiomysida Tchindonova, 1981, and Mysida Boas, 1883 (also known collectively as Mysidacea)
This chapter gives complementary information about the difficult birth, the rise, and the potential decline or renaissance of the order Mysidacea Boas, 1883.
Limnomysis benedeni Czerniavsky: a Pontocaspian mysid new for the freshwaters of France (Crustacea, Mysidacea).
A Comparative Study of Static Bodies in Mysid Crustaceans: Evolutionary Implications of Crystallographic Characteristics.

The patterns of mineral composition of static bodies in the Mysidae reflect both anatomical and ecophysiological differences and with respect to population numbers in the different aquatic biota, vaterite prevails in freshwater species and fluorite is dominant among species in all brackish to marine environments.
Interbreeding versus morphological and ecological differentiation in Mediterranean Diamysis (Crustacea, Mysidacea), with description of four new taxa
A key to the 10 species and two subspecies in this genus is given and survival of brood pouch larvae in the laboratory was higher under mesohaline compared with euhaline conditions, suggesting a brackish water origin in euhalobiontic forms that may have immigrated into the sea from low salinity environments.
The dolinas of torre castiglione (gulf of Tarent, Italy) : Environmental and faunistic aspects of a semi-hypogean water system
On decrit un systeme de dolines situees pres de la cote ionienne des Pouilles (Italie meridionale). Il s'agit de cavites d'ecroulement appelees Spunnulate', dont le fond est, en general, occupe par…
Scanning Electron Microscopy and X‐ray Diffraction Studies of the Macular Crystals in the Chondrostean Fish Erpetoichthys calabaricus (Smith)
It is suggested that the presence of two calcium carbonate polymorphs in the statoacoustic organs of this archaic fish may have an evolutionary, as well as a systematic and functional significance.
Some Aspects of Fluorite and Vaterite Precipitation in Marine Environments
A minimum estimate for the role of mysids in the global fluoride cycle suggests that at least 62,000 tons of fluoride are bound in mysid statoliths.
Structure of recent and fossil mysid statoliths (Crustacea, Mysidacea)

The structure of accessory fluorite statoliths in the statocyst of Mesopodopsis slabberi leads to the hypothesis that mantle material is formed by secretions of the caudalstatocyst gland.
The species complex of Diamysis Czerniavsky, 1882, in fresh waters of the Adriatic basin (NE Mediterranean), with descriptions of D. lacustris Băcescu, 1940, new rank, and D. fluviatilis sp. nov.…
All freshwater records of Diamysis species so far confirmed for the Mediterranean are restricted to tributaries of the Adriatic basin, possibly related to transgressive-regressive events during the Pliocene-Pleistocene, causing alternations between marine and freshwater-terrestrial phases in this semi-enclosed basin.
