Blood bacterial resistant investigation collaborative system (BRICS) report: a national surveillance in China from 2014 to 2019
- Yunbo ChenJ. Ji Fei-yang Du
- 24 January 2022
Medicine, Environmental Science
The major resistant pathogens declined or remained stable, whereas carbapenem-resistant K. pneumoniae continued to increase, which poses a great therapeutic challenge for BSIs.
Confirmation of the Need for Reclassification of Neisseria mucosa and Neisseria sicca Using Average Nucleotide Identity Blast and Phylogenetic Analysis of Whole-Genome Sequencing: Hinted by Clinical…

- 21 February 2022
Medicine, Biology
A Neisseria isolate, which caused native-valve endocarditis and multiple embolic brain infarcts in a patient with congenital heart disease, was misidentified as N. sicca by VITEK MS, and a combination of ANIb and robust phylogenetic analysis reclassified strains originally identified as N.'sicca and N. mucosa into their respective subflava groups.
Distribution and antimicrobial resistance profile of clinical bacterial isolates from blood culture in China, 2014-2015
- Yunbo ChenJ. Ji Yonghong Xiao
- 28 February 2019
Medicine
The surveillance results from 2014 to 2015 show that the main pathogens of blood stream infection in China are Gram-negative bacteria, while Escherichia coli is the most common pathogen, the detection rate of MRSA is lower than other surveillance data in the same period in China; carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae and EscherICHia coli are at a low level as shown in this surveillance.
Relationship between the characteristics of immunopathological expression of hepatitis C virus antigen and hepatocytic injury.
There was no obvious correlation between the HCVAgpositive rate in hepatic tissues and the anti-HCV positive rate in sera, nor the patients with seropositive anti- HCV had any history of blood transfusion and the use of blood products.
[Clinical analysis of 1704 cases of fetal distress].
The results suggested that by using multiple item examinations, early diagnosis of fetal distress and prompt management are possible to decrease the asphyxia rate and the prevention of complications of pregnancy is important to reduce the fetal distress.
Flavorubredoxin, a Candidate Trigger Related to Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura: Screening of the Complete Genome of a Salmonella enterica Serovar Typhimurium Isolate From an AIDS Case
- Zhouhan WangHao Xu Yimin Zhang
- 10 June 2022
Medicine
It is found that norV in the genome of a S. Typhimurium clinical isolate that induced TTP in an AIDS patient, and FlRd, the protein encoded by norV, probably triggered the TTP and was highly conservative, functional, and widespread in S. enterica and Enterobacteriaceae.
BRICS report of 2016-2017: the distribution and antimicrobial resistance profile of clinical isolates from blood culture in China
- Yunbo ChenJ. Ji Yonghong Xiao
- 28 February 2020
Medicine
The surveillance results from 2016 to 2017 showed that the main pathogens of blood stream infection in China were gram-negative bacteria, while Escherichia coli was the most common pathogen; the MRSA incidence was lower than other surveillance data in the same period in China.
