Reproductive biology of the Bigeye Thresher Shark, Alopias superciliosus (Lowe, 1939)
The embryo morphology provided evidence of ovophagy, litter sizes, indications of reproductive seasonality, and the possible existence of a nursery area in waters off the south-western Iberian peninsula are described.

Three endemic and threatened shearwater species are pointed out as being particularly exposed to plastic accumulation, including Cory's shearwaters, which showed the highest occurrence and large numbers of small plastic particles per affected bird.
